- if your parent dies, you have to file their taxes. (i don’t make the rules)
- people would rather live in a delusional world where they don’t have to admit they’re wrong than hurt someone they care about
- it’s okay to admit that someone that died wasn’t good to you all of the time. shit, it’s okay to admit someone ALIVE isn’t good to you.
- the more you fight against what society tells you to be and you show up as yourself- the more the universe rewards you (the reward is even better because you weren’t even doing it for that)
- just by being you- you’re the reason someone, at some point, decided to wake up another day
- we cannot handle full transparency because we cannot handle having our feelings hurt. if you want to dress up as a furry and go in public, fine.. but don’t ask people to not think it’s weird as you’re asking to just be yourself. them thinking it’s weird is ALSO them being themselves. everything isn’t for everybody- and THAT’S OK. IT’S NOT PERSONAL.
- we were not born to work a 9-5 to save money to experience life in our 60s. What worked for the generation before us will never work for us because that world doesn’t exist anymore.
- there’s a difference between humble and cocky… and if you aren’t humble out of fear of being cocky, you risk being ignorant.
- ADHD people need a “how-to” tutorial on how to learn from a tutorial.
- learn a new hobby, but learn one at a time. when learning that hobby, pick ONE trick and practice that one trick until you’re happy with it. it eliminates the never ending feeling of dooms because of all of the options.
- it’s okay to admit you don’t know enough about something to speak on the issue… that’s actually encouraged.
- little you would be proud of you, so be nice to yourself.
- it’s okay to outgrow places that once healed you.
- it’s okay that sometimes, a memory comes back of your ex singing to you and you’ll miss them. you’ll dream about them too.
- sometimes, being socially drained becomes physically painful for people that get overstimulated easily.
- when you start to embrace being authentic, the universe will bring you people that give you the space to breathe safely, and will remind you that there’s a heart underneath the troll attitude you put off.
